She Can Kill With a Smile

I just saw the new John Lewis TV advert

...Not that I'm completely swayed by advertising (*ahem*), but this cover of Billy Joel's 'She's Always a Woman' by Fyfe Dangerfield (What a name!) is beautiful.  Give it a listen, it's such a nice song, although the sentiment is rather strange. Gorgeous vocals though.

Anywho, it's ironic that I've named this post 'She Can Kill With a Smile' and then I'm going to post about Victoria Beckham. Hardly famous for her smile, is she? I don't doubt that her pout could kill at 100 yards though.
She is on the cover of Germany's Vogue in May

Notice that she is not smiling. I kid, I kid.
I think she looks fabulous. Not to mention her legs go on forever in the last shot. The setting of these shots are amazing. I like that they put her in a rundown, dirty and so out of her zone. It exaggerates the beauty of her hair, make-up and clothes.

I have to say, I've always quite liked Victoria. Not only was she in the Spice girls (win) and marry the hottest footballer (double win), she's just come into her own with her fashion. Her own line has been worn by some big names, and I think it's well deserved. They fit like a glove.

Here's one Spring/Summer '10 look and one Autumn/Winter '10 from her collection:

By the way, I LOVE. They are such a neat reflection of her. Absolutely gorgeous.

  2. the last dress is to die for!! all that drapey goodness! xx

  3. hey, love that you picked the nude number! I absolutely adore that silhouette ... first glance I actually thought it was maybe long flared pants (it was late, lol!):)

Drop me a line and make me smile <3
